VA Mortgages are an independent whole of market mortgage advice company. Established in 2000, their business has built an exceptional reputation. They have grown consistently from word of mouth, referrals and repeat customers.
The team at VA Mortgages approached Kabo Creative looking to bring their website up to speed, to support them as they continue to expand. They also wanted their logo and branded materials to be modernised, with a redesign that payed homage to their original logo designed back in 2000.
Designed for humans, good for SEO
Beyond a fresh and appealing design, we have designed FAQ style tabs for the various mortgage service pages. Following some research into important SEO keywords, toggles have been designed to help potential customers in the mortgage application process.
From helping first time buyers to work out the costs associated with buying a home, to the more complex needs of buy-to-let portfolios, these sections are aimed at humans first but are also great content for the search engines.
Fully responsive design
No website should be designed in 2018 without responsive design at its core. Using breakpoints and columns, the website collapses into fully responsive views dependent on screen size.
Mobile first design ensures extra elements disappear to enable a logical display on smaller devices.

Taking the original VA Mortgages logo, our in-house designer set to work creating something modern but paying homage to the original design. It was important that existing customers could easily recognise the brand.
Combining the brand’s name ‘VA’ with the recognisable brand colours and triangle shape created a square format that can be used across social media platforms and other square formats. Incorporating the full text, the new rectangular logo features the brand name more prominently allowing it to scale down as is often required in various marketing formats.
Kabo supplied letterheads, business cards, email signatures and social media cover images as part of the redesign process.
